Description:
Charlene is a licensed health care professional in good standing with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists. She works mostly with children who have autism, but also has expertise with sensory processing disorder, developmental coordination disorder, attention deficit disorder, brain injury, complex behavioral needs, neurofibromitosis, isodicentric 15, and cerebral palsy. Your child will learn the skills of life:  Self-care: grooming, toilet training, tooth-brushing, dressing, and community access. Productivity: writing, computer access, fine motor manipulation tasks, pre-academic skills, and pre-employment skills. Leisure: life fitness and joy for living. You will receive coaching to help your child become: Alert and ready to learn  Calm and connected with others  Able to initiate independence skills Able to persist until a task is done well Ready to react calmly to uncertain situations or sudden sensations Engaged in life.
