Since opening in Calgary in 1985, we have treated over 60,000 patients and trained over 300 physicians locally, nationally, and internationally. We have trained physicians in the practice of varicose and spider vein removal, as well as in the delivery of laser corrective surgery and other cosmetic laser surgery treatments in Calgary and beyond.

Centre Director Dr. Louis Grondin has devoted himself to the study and treatment of venous disease. The gold standard for treating varicose veins and for spider vein removal is injection therapy or Sclerotherapy. Early in his career, at the request of his patients, he began exploring the possibility of introducing cosmetic laser surgery to his existing practice. With his artistic eye, as well as his knowledge of laser corrective surgery and his knowledge of anatomy, it was a natural step to introduce laser surgery and Lipo-Sculpture (now known as body sculpting) to the practice.
